A little over five months after his death, and 35 years after he was banned from the game of baseball by then-commissioner A. Bartlett Giamatti, Pete Rose may be posthumously getting his flowers – from two different angles. It is unknow if the two are related. However, as some say, there are no coincidences.

Major League Baseball commissioner Rob Manfred is reviewing a request for Rose to be removed from MLB’s permanently ineligible list.

Baseball legend Pete Rose pleaded guilty in 1990 to two counts of filing false tax returns and served a five-month prison sentence.
