WhatsApp tests a MySpace-inspired music status feature, letting users share songs to express moods, bringing modern nostalgia to the messaging app.

WhatsApp unveils a new feature allowing users to link their accounts with Meta’s Accounts Centre. This enables seamless sharing of WhatsApp Status to Facebook and Instagram, while maintaining privacy.

This feature will be gradually rolled out worldwide over the coming months. Users are encouraged to keep their app updated and check settings for availability. Connecting to the Meta Accounts Centre will not compromise the platform's strong privacy standards.

The social media giant said it was introducing the ability for users to add a WhatsApp profile to its Accounts Centre hub.

WhatsApp users are going to get a new feature soon. With this, they will be able to share their favorite songs with friends and family members by putting them in the status. Its testing has also started.
