The Pool of Siloam – the site in Jerusalem where the Gospels say Jesus healed a man born blind – will be soon open to the public after the completion of many years of archaeological excavations.

On the wall in the lobby at Siloam is printed the story of Jesus healing a blind man in John 9, where he tells the man to wash in the pool of Siloam and the man regains his sight.
