American Bank Center will lose its name at the end of September 2024. For the past 20 years, American Bank has sponsored the center in downtown Corpus Christi.

American Bank became the complex sponsor in 2004 and extended their agreement in 2014. Zanoni said the contract was for around $175,000 a year, but may have been adjusted along the way.
