Psalm 121 is a short Psalm but what it has to tell us is a very big truth. “I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

The Psalmist gives the answer: “My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth” (vs. 2). The Psalmist knew that his help would not come from the mountains.

And if we read only the first verse of Psalm 121, we're still helpless. But the next line (partially quoted in the Apostle's Creed) answers: "My help comes from God, who made heaven and earth." The ...
