A new form of lime kiln has been patented by A. G. Anderson, of Quincy, 111., whereby its operation is continuous for any length of time, and the lime is exposed to the more direct action of the fire.

Seafood bar and restaurant group Matt the Thresher has acquired the Lime Kiln gastropub in Julianstown, Co Meath. The deal will see The Lime Kiln rebranded as Matt the Thresher Julianstown.
