Husseini continued shouting, mentioning Israel’s “nuclear weapons”, then saying, “I was sitting here quietly and now I’m being manhandled by two or three people,” referring to security guards who physically carried him out of the room.

Two journalists accusing Israel of genocide and other atrocities were expelled from Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s final press conference, in one case getting dragged out while repeatedly screaming, “Why aren’t you in the Hague?”

Asked during the press conference if he would change anything about his dealings with Israel, Blinken said the Israeli government had carried out policies that "were basically supported by an overwhelming majority of Israelis after the trauma of October 7" and said that had to be factored in to the U.S. response.

Several times during Blinken's opening remarks, two members of the audience repeatedly interjected with shouted questions about U.S. support for Israel and conditions in Gaza, and, at times, personal attacks aimed at Blinken and other State Department officials.
