Spielman and the Jets must have enjoyed the partnership because it has become permanate. Spielman announced on his CBS Sports podcast that he was hired as a senior football advisor. He essentially said his role will be to help coach Aaron Glenn and GM Darren Mougey in whatever way possible.

Mougey has begun making changes in the front office. He hired former Broncos scout Robbie Paton, Geroge’s nephew, as co-director of player personnel and fired long-time Jets’ executives Greg Nejmeh and Dave Socie.
