M anchester United's Harry Maguire has offered up a glimpse behind the curtain at his pre-season preparations as he trains with teammate Rasmus Hojlund. The England international had raved over the striker - during a period of uncertainty surrounding 22-year-old's future at Old Trafford.

United did have Watkins in mind as an alternative to Hojlund in the summer of 2023, but then manager Erik ten Hag and recruitment staff pressed ahead with the younger striker from Atalanta. In October 2023, Watkins signed new terms at Villa running to 2028.

As per reports, Manchester United view Ollie Watkins as a potential signing if Rasmus Hojlund leaves the club this summer.
