I experienced the same issue. The brakes on my 2008 Honda Accord EX 4cyl had to be replaced with 19,000 miles. This was not covered under warranty. I contact Honda Customer Service only to be told that this is normal wear and tear. Others have posted the same issues on carcomplaints.com.

Also glad I went with the larger Accord (over Civic, Mazda3 et all) since we have actually taken it on a 400 mile day trip with the whole family (2 adults 3 kids). Driving the Accord instead of the minivan saved $20 in gas in just one day. Off topic, but it gives me sick feeling everytime I see a brand new full sized SUV/truck with temporary tags.

That's odd about the gas pedal, since it isn't connected to anything mechanical like old throttle pedals; all Accords have had electronic throttles since 2006.

In typical Honda fashion, there are some features included on the Sport that aren’t on the EX and vice versa! The Sport is my favorite with sporty 18” alloy wheels, rear spoiler and leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter. My only complaint is that it has the same 4-speaker 160-watt Audio System found in LX models.

Also, the TSX is just a rebrand of the European Honda Accord. TSX and Civics are completely different classes of car. Accord is a midsize sedan, TSX is luxury midsize, and Civic is compact If it makes a difference, Acura salesperson and customer service are much much much better than Honda sales/service.
