Jul 28, 2024 · Spent a great week on the tip of Prince of Whales Island with my 24 year old son and my three fishing and hunting buddies. Lots of big halibut and got into some good ling's. My one buddy is an alaskan resident. Salmon are late this year so we didn't focus on them. Will do Salmon when I go back the last week of August.

He wouldn't make it for me but he did show me and help me make one. The ones he made were very simple using traditional and modern day items. For example.
