Do you shovel before freezing rain? : r/askportland - Reddit
yes I shovel before freezing rain (southeast Ontario, Canada) I know that it seems as though traction would be better, but after 10 1/2 years delivering papers by foot for a couple hours each day, I will tell you, I would rather slide on ice than slip, break that ice, and have sharp pieces dig into me, possibly tearing my coat, or as once ...
how is it raining when it's below freezing? : r/weather - Reddit
Jan 26, 2023 · Freezing rain is the worst. In Christmas Eve at home in NW Montana (right after the epic snow and cold spell), it started raining when it was 16 degrees. Ridiculous. Took over 24hrs to finally warm above freezing. Luckily, it was generally a light rain but enough to make a mess of everything.
