All hail the Queen. Feb. 9, 1969. We are so sorry to be cancelling our birthday celebrations for Boeing 747 RA001 this weekend. Yes, the Queen of the Skies turns 50, but due to safety considerations with snowfall predicted tonight, the Aviation Pavilion (the 747's home) will be closed, so there will be no access to the 747, and the 747 lectures in the Museum have been cancelled. So let's all remember the Queen in our own way instead. We will post more pics and video for you though! | The Museum
