Around 1 PM a helicopter made an emergency landing in Cedar Lake after possibly having engine trouble, according to sources. Two occupants were able to swim to shore safely. The helicopter is completely submerged at this time and it is believed to be a Robinson R22 model. The helicopter was a private helicopter rented from the Lansing Airport.
