The Arabia steamboat museum is one of Kansas City’s BEST attractions and one of the most interesting places you will ever visit!! There, you learn about the sinking of the steamboat Arabia in 1856 and the excavation of its 200 tons of cargo in 1988. In 1991, the museum was opened. It showcases the greatest collection of pre-Civil War artifacts anywhere. And you will absolutely MARVEL at the shear amount of cargo that has been cleaned, preserved, and put on display. Amazingly, museum staff is sti
