Terry-Lynne McClintic was transferred from a maximum-security prison to the Okima Ohci Healing Lodge on Nekaneet Territory. McKlintic pleaded guilty in 2010 to murdering eight-year-old Tori Stafford after her male co-accused raped the eight-year-old. It is unclear if McClintic is Aboriginal and whether she requested the transfer because that information is protected under privacy legislation.
