The very first thing Adam ever experienced… wasn’t sight, sound, or touch. It was the Spirit of God filling his lungs. Genesis says God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being. The Hebrew word here is ruach, breath, wind, spirit, divine intelligence. Which means the breath you’re taking right now is part of the same breath God gave humanity in the beginning. It’s not just oxygen. It’s a reminder you’ve never been separate from Him.
