Here's a brief video of the model tram running in our Exhibition Hall today. This model was made by Robert Whetstone, a well-known tram model maker during the 1960s & 1970s who lived and worked in Birmingham. This model is of Birmingham Corporation open top double-deck tramcar No. 1, which was built in 1904. The tram was destroyed in a heavy air raid in Miller Street depot in April 1941 (scale: 1/8).
