In honor of Arvo Pärt’s 90th birthday, I wanted to share a short clip from the Di Menna Center for Classical Music in NYC, recorded just two days ago. Last year, I had the chance to visit the Arvo Pärt Centre and see the original sketches for Für Alina — the first piece written in his signature tintinnabuli style.
