For something a little bit different - this is a pilot perspective of one of our two airworthy DHC-4 Caribou conducting a short field technique landing during a recent Tarmac Weekend. Unlike when the aircraft was in service, our pilots are pretty gentle with the brakes in order to avoid unecessary wear so the deceleration you are seeing here is mostly from the reverse pitch propellers - just one of many unique features the mighty Bou used to give it it's world beating STOL performance.
